Summary

This is a 19-year-old Isle of Jura single malt, originally made for travel retail, matured in American white-oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in casks that previously held 40-year-old Pedro Ximénez sherry. The profile is rich, sweet and gently spicy, combining cake-like vanilla and dried-fruit character with pear, fig and roasted-nut notes.

Interesting Facts

• The whisky is named for the three prominent Paps of Jura, which the brand describes as the Sacred Mountain, the Mountain of the Sound and the Mountain of Gold.
• It was released as part of Jura’s Global Travel Retail range and is bottled at 45.6% ABV.
