Tasting Notes

Nose: Warming and oily, with ripe orchard fruit, malt and orange. Nutty almond, a light briny edge and restrained smoke sit underneath.

Palate: Full and coating, balancing dried fruit, honeyed malt and orange zest with sea salt. Gentle clove-like spice, green apple and a faint smoky dryness develop.

Finish: Long, initially smooth and syrupy, then drying with oak, dark chocolate and spice. Pine freshness, a little salt and a late wisp of smoke linger.
