Stateless Heaven's Door Rye Whiskey Review

A straight rye whiskey from Bob Dylan's Heaven's Door range, finished in toasted oak cigar barrels from Vosges, France. It is full of orange peel, bright tropical fruit, coriander and spice notes.

Nose: Orange zest and tropical fruits, balanced by herbs and spice. A trace of almond lingers in the background.

Palate: Layers of tropical fruits along with honey and creamy caramel, followed by a hint of vanilla and a touch of spice. The Amontillado influence brings depth.

Finish is fresh, minty, long but delicate.

The distinctive artwork on the bottle is a replica of metalwork crafted by Bob Dylan at his studio, Black Buffalo ironworks.
