This bottling is a 17 year old single malt that was matured in ex Bourbon casks from 2001 until 2015 and then finished in 2 batches of Californian red wine casks for the remaining period. Just 6000 bottles were released.
Dried fruit, coffee, vanilla and toffee. The palate is smooth with spicy oak, stone fruit, cherry and sweet cinnamon spice. The finish is fruity, malty and complex with a peppery end.
