Tasting Notes

Nose: Vanilla and caramel lead, with cedar, wood spice and ripe fruit.

Palate: Rich but dry, with honeyed spice, stone fruit, toasted oak and a light grassy note.

Finish: Lingering coconut and a touch of cocoa.

Summary

A limited Deanston organic single malt distilled in 2002, matured for 20 years in re-charred organic American oak and bottled at natural colour, without chill filtration, at cask strength. It is a honeyed, fruity and oak-led unpeated whisky, balancing sweet vanilla and caramel with dry spice, stone fruit and coconut-cocoa length.
