Nose: Light fruit, honey and coconut, with vanilla and pear toffee.

Palate: Soft caramel, honey and vanilla, with mild white pepper and oak spice.

Finish: Medium in length, smooth and gently dry, with nuts, white pepper and light oak spice.

Mackmyra Sweden Rock 17 is a Swedish single malt released for the Sweden Rock Festival in 2017, distilled in 2008 and bottled by the distillery at 40% ABV. Its restrained, bourbon-led profile is soft and lightly fruity, balancing honey and caramel sweetness with coconut, pepper and a dry-oak close.

Interesting Facts

• It was the third release in the Mackmyra and Sweden Rock Festival collaboration.
• The release was limited to 5,000 bottles in 700 ml format.
