Tasting Notes

Nose: Orange blossom, honey, milk chocolate and dried fruit, with a light oak note.

Palate: Rich and oily, with chocolate, orange marmalade, figs, sultanas and warming spice; a soft waxy texture carries the fruit.

Finish: Milk chocolate and zesty citrus, followed by dried fruit, mellow oak and gentle baking spice.

Summary

Deanston Sherry Cask Finish is an unpeated Highland single malt, first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks from Spain. The sherry finish adds dried fruit, nuts, chocolate and spice to Deanston's characteristic citrus-led, waxy style.
