When should you order?
It depends on which calendar it is, and where it is going.
- A 25 day calendar starts on 1 December, so it needs to arrive by the end of November.
- A 12 day calendar as a countdown also needs to arrive before December.
- A 12 day calendar as a Christmas present only needs to arrive before Christmas Day. It is opened through the twelve days of Christmas, from 25 December into the new year.
Then count back the delivery time. In the UK that is 2 to 3 working days. To the USA and Europe it is 3 to 7 working days. We do not dispatch on Saturdays or Sundays, so allow for a weekend as well. The full details are in our delivery guide.
What happens when a calendar sells out?
Its own page shows it as sold out, and we update the table on this page. We never take an order for a calendar we cannot send.
If the one you wanted has gone, these are the closest matches:
- Instead of the 25 Day Scotch: the 12 Day Scotch Whisky Advent Calendar.
- Instead of the 25 Day Whiskey: the 12 Day Whiskey Advent Calendar, with Scotch, Irish and American whiskey.
- Instead of the 12 Day American: the 12 Day Whiskey Advent Calendar, which has six bourbons in it.
- Instead of a 12 day calendar: the 25 day version of the same idea, the 25 Day Scotch or the 25 Day Whiskey.
Left it late? A 12 day calendar still works
A 12 day calendar does not have to be opened before Christmas. Give it on Christmas Day and it is opened one dram a day through the twelve days of Christmas. So if December has already started, you have not missed it.
Not sure which one to choose?
